Esther’s Home Care was founded in Baltimore in 1999 by Esther, a nurse and caregiver who has known her calling since childhood. More than 25 years later, that same mission drives every caregiver we send into a home: to help people live with dignity, comfort, and connection.
I Was Born to Do This Work
Esther grew up in a small town in Trinidad where everyone knew each other. From the time she was about five years old, she’d spot elderly neighbors struggling with packages or errands — and rush over to help. It wasn’t something she was taught. It was just who she was.
Nursing was a natural path. After building her career in healthcare, Esther founded Esther’s Home Care in Baltimore in 1999. It wasn't a business opportunity, but an extension of that same lifelong instinct to show up for people who need support.
